GURU PURNIMA CELEBRATIONS -2024
The
Festival of Guru Purnima was celebrated in our Vidyalaya on 20/July/24. This
day is dedicated to offering respect to all the Spiritual and academic gurus. The
programme started at 9:00 am. It started with the garlanding of the portrait of
“Om” and swamiji. Then lightening the lamp was done by our in charge didi .
Then
we learn the importance of Guru Purnima by Mrs. Vinodhiny didi (Guru Purnima is
a festival celebrated to honor the spiritual and academic gurus . In Sanskrit
guru means someone who eliminates the darkness and who is not just a teacher but also a guiding light.), next our students came forward for the speech.
After the speech got over, all the teachers and students chanted the shlokas, and bhajan.
The entire program ended with a divine and positive environment. All together 75 students, 08 teaching and 03 non teaching staff witness the divine day.
