The Krishna Janmashtami celebration at Zilla Parishad Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Ferrargunj, was a vibrant and joyous occasion. The school premises were adorned with festive decorations, creating a devotional atmosphere. Students participated enthusiastically in various cultural programs, including devotional songs, dances, and a reenactment of Lord Krishna's life events, highlighting his childhood and divine acts.

The program commenced with the lighting of the lamp, followed by a speech on the significance of Krishna Janmashtami, emphasizing Lord Krishna's teachings from the Bhagavad Gita. Students, dressed as Krishna and Radha, performances, bringing the stories of Krishna's mischievous childhood to life.

The celebration was a beautiful blend of devotion, culture, and tradition, leaving a lasting impression on everyone present.

RAKSHA BANDHAN CELEBRATION

 On 19 August, 2024 Zilla Parishad Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya,  Ferrargunj celebrated Raksha Bandhan .The Program was started with a wonderful speech by Smti. Priyanka bhattacharya which enlightened the students the importance of the day, Raksha means protection and bandhan means bond.  This festival symbolize eternal love of brother and sister relationship.This festival is to promote the feeling of unity and commitment for all the  members of the society to protect each other from the evil like lord Krishna saves Droupadi in mahabarat and protect her from the evil . After the speech students of our vidyalaya did aarati and tied raksha bandhan by taking sapath, that they will always walk in unity and protect each other . And the students and teachers of our vidyalaya went to different office to celebrate Raksha bandhan like : Fire Brigade office Ferrargunj, Health and wellness centre Ferrargunj and the Panchayat office, Ferrargunj , to bring unity and brotherhood among all .

78th INDEPENDENCE DAY

    Zilla Parishad Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Ferrargunj celebrated Independence day,  the event began with the flag hoisting by Shri Abdul Bashir, a respected member of the Zilla Parishad from the Ferrargunj constituency. As the national flag was raised, everyone sang the national anthem together, creating a sense of pride and unity.

After the flag hoisting, Shri. Abdul Bashir gave a speech about the importance of Independence Day. He talked about the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and encouraged the students to work hard and contribute to the country's progress.

As part of the cultural program, the students of the school performed a patriotic songs,  which resonated with the audience and filled them with a deep sense of patriotism.

In addition to the school’s own celebrations, students from Zilla Parishad Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya also participated in the cultural program held at the Tehsil office. Their performance was highly appreciated, earning them a trophy and certificate in recognition of their talent and hard work. This achievement brought great pride to the school.

The Independence Day celebration concluded with a strong sense of accomplishment and patriotism, making it a memorable day for everyone involved. The event was not only a tribute to India's freedom but also a celebration of the students' dedication and success.

SANSKAR VARGA

 

Zila Parishad Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Ferrargunj conducted Sanskar Varga on 27th July 2024 around 90 parents were participated in the program. The program was started with three Omkara's followed by speech given by our teacher about the life history of KHUDIRAM BOSE, one of the youngest freedom fighter who sacrifices his life towards nation at the very young age of 16. His participation in planting bombs near the police station and targeted British officials. Our teacher also mentioned about other unsung heroes who lost their life or put their all in the freedom and unity of India, but very few of us know about them. Teachers and parents also discuss on the improvement of society and make them aware about how today's generation get distracted by wrong thinking. Also discuss to bring our people and society in right path of life. 

Yoga session were also conducted in which parents participation has gained significant attention due to its numerous benefits for both adults and children. Practicing yoga as a family can foster physical, mental well-being, and stronger family bonds.

Games session were also conducted for parents in which all parents actively participated. Games like Ram Lakshman Sita, leader leader change change, and Nameste ji was included which teachers
learned in Vishesh Acharya Prashiksan shibir. At last slogans were raised by the teacher and parents followed them. The Sanskaar varga was ended with Shanti path and Prarthana.

BHAJAN SANDHYA

Zilla Parishad Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya organized Bhajan Sandhya at Ferrargunj Shiv Mandir, on 17th July, 2024, where our teachers, parents, students and the villagers who lived near the temple joined the Bhajan Sandhya. Our teachers sung bhajans and all the people have participated actively and they too performed their own bhajan and keertan. The program was ended smoothly with lot of divine and Shradha.

MID DAY MEAL SCHEME

 Mid-day meal scheme was started in Zilla Parishad Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Ferrargunj on 1st July, 2024, students have enjoyed the food and they experienced mid-day meal at our Vidyalaya for the first time. So, it was a proud moment for all of us. Maximum number of students enjoyed the food by taking it twice, the actual serving and eating undertaken in a spirit of togetherness. At first mothers' committee and teachers ensured that the food quality and the taste of food served to the children under hygienic condition and orderly manner.At the end the environment was new and joyful for children.

 

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL (WELCOMING OF STUDENTS)

  On 1st July 2024, We started new session after vacation holidays. We welcomed our children with Tika and all  children offered flower in Swamiji's feet and then we did Aarati of Swamiji and shared sweets to the children. The welcome Assembly was held for students by the teachers. It all seemed serene as the students and teachers together prayed to God for a successful year ahead. The assembly ended with national song. At the end we  look forward for a bright year ahead and make it productive and inspiring for our children.

SHIKSHA SAPTAH AT OUR VIDYALAYA

INTRODUCTION: 

    Shiksha Saptah, or Education Week, is an initiative aimed at emphasizing the importance of education and promoting various educational activities within schools and communities. This report provides an overview of the activities, outcomes, and impact of Shiksha Saptah held from 22 July 2024 to 28 July 2024.

Day 1 : TLM (Teaching Learning Material) Day

 

On 22 July 2024 Teaching Learning materials Day was observed ,where Teachers and Students makes and show cased teaching learning materials. Teacher exhibited and utilized the teaching - learning materials. It will enhance the learning effective  and also helps the children  to achieve the learning outcomes after classroom teaching and learning . 

 

 

Day 2 : FLN (Foundational Literacy and Numeracy)day

 

On 23 July 2024 Foundational literacy and numeracy day was observed where teachers and students took pledge of NIPUN BHARAT and shared the importance of Foundational literacy and numeracy. It will empower students to make meaning, think critically and creatively and reach their full potential. 

 

 

  Day 3 : SPORTS DAY        

                                                           

 

On 24 July 2024 Sports day was observed where teachers conducted sports for children to improve self esteem social skill and confidence among children, it also teach them time management and discipline.

 

 

 

Day 4 : CULTURAL DAY

 

On 25 July 2024 Cultural day Folklore presentation day was observed where students and teacher present India vast culture tradition and language through speech, dance and stories. It was observed to bring a positive sense of unity and identify to develop when kids learn about - their culture and tradition. They learn their roots and what makes them unique and this knowledge gives them sense of pride. 

 

 

Day 5 : SKILLING AND DIGITAL INITIATIVES DAY

 

  

 

On 26 July 2024 Skilling day was observed where teachers help the students to do activities . It will improve gamified learning ,shape better decisions making, educational independence and a more positive altitude in students. 

 

 

 

Day 6 : ECO CLUBS FOR MISSION LIFE/SCHOOL NUTRITION DAY

 

On  27 July 2024ECO clubs for mission Life Day observed where teachers and students planted many plants to make children aware of ECO friendly nature. It help them to understand the benefits and importance of plants and the thing that plants are the primary producers and all other living organism on their planet depends on plants.

 

 

 

Day 7 : COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT DAY

 

On 28 July 2024 Community involvement day is observed where Teachers makes the parents aware about NIPUN BHARAT and conducted games and Yoga Session for parents. Parents actively participated in planting different types of plants. The Session was ended with peace environment

 

 

 

Conclusion:

    Shiksha Saptah was a resounding success, achieving its objectives of promoting education, engaging students, and involving the community. The event not only highlighted the importance of education but also provided a platform for students to learn, compete, and grow.
